The mold will produce a round face. This is a Szabary Barbee original design from 1986. You will see satisfied customers have purchased these designs and will be able to look this up in our feedback. These were first used to adorn our hand thrown mugs and vases. We found them to be very helpful and used them to teach autistic children. We have two Special Education teachers in this family. Kids love these faces in all shapes.The graphic pics as well as the faces are used to help autistic children to recognize facial expressions as a form of recognition and communication. Mr. Barbee is a Specialist in Education, a Developmental Psychologist, a cognitive and behavioral specialist with a focus on helping children with language deficits, A Special Education teacher for mild to moderate and moderate to severe children and adolescence with disabilities.The Barbees developed this design. Mr Barbee has used these in his lesson plans and they have proven to be effective learning tools for helping children communicate. Below we added a few photos from the series.
